what is equally irritating is the occupylsx tendency to hijack christianity as some sort of moral highground. you either believe it or you don’t, you can’t just change your viewpoint as and when it suits you politically; that makes you no better than what you are protesting against.

interestingly, i heard that occupylsx was an issue partly because homeless people were there. what is worrying about that is that people aren’t concerned that in 21st century britain we have homeless people, but they are concerned because they are congregating in one place. moving them on doesn’t stop them being any less homeless, you maybe just don’t have to acknowledge them so...
